SUUM exists to carry choreography from incubation to stage. Created in response to the lack of presentation opportunities beyond the residency phase, SUUM is a vehicle that propels emerging dance artists toward the full realization of their creative visions.
We believe each artistic project evolves through a wheel of ideas—imagination, inquiry, and embodiment—requiring access, support, and momentum to move forward. SUUM acts as the spokes of that wheel, connecting artists to funding, venues, marketing support, and audiences. Through producing site-specific performances, masterclasses, educational outreach, content creation, and artist talkbacks, we offer platforms where audiences are invited into the artist’s vision, process, and purpose.
